Xansa, the outsourcing and technology company, has been named Gold winner in the Excellence in Information Integrity (EII) awards 2007.
The Information Integrity Coalition (IIC), an independent and not-for-profit organisation, unveiled the winners of the 12th annual Excellence in Information Integrity (EII) Award during a banquet at the Harold Washington Library Centre in Chicago on 10 September, 2007. The award is presented to organizations that have put forth a concerted effort to provide accurate, consistent and reliable information to their customers, suppliers and partners.
In winning the award Xansa has been recognised for its exceptional progress towards achieving information integrity within the Finance and Accounting services provided by NHS Shared Business Services, the 50:50 joint venture with the Department of Health. Xansa won against fierce competition from a more than 60 nominated organisation including a number of large multinational companies.
NHS Shared Business Services is a great example of Xansa's Finance and Accounting (F&A) capability and we are delighted that it has been recognised by an international body like the IIC. Information integrity lies at the heart of Xansa's F&A capability and is a key aspect of the service we provide to our clients. It is the robust framework of controls and compliance programmes within our F&A service which gives clients the ability to create an environment that promotes consistency, predictability, process efficiency and helps reduce regulatory risk.
"The 2007 EII Award Banquet was an inspiring event featuring 225 attendees from around the world to celebrate accomplishments of organizations in For-Profit and Non-Profit categories in achieving Information Integrity," said Dr. Manu Vora, Chair, 2007 EII Awards Program and IIC Director.
