Overview
Xansa works with its clients to turn the necessity of a technical upgrade into an opportunity to improve and advance their business processes, and to reduce the cost of system ownership.
Xansa's experienced consultants are fully aware that, whilst there is a major technical element to an upgrade, even without addressing any business improvement opportunities, the users of the system will be impacted. Look and feel may change and some functions may perform differently. These aspects are of equal importance to the upgrade and are recognised and included in our approach. In other words, Xansa addresses not just the technical issues of an upgrade, but the change management aspects of the project too.
SAP is moving on and Xansa can help its clients determine and implement what it can do for them.

Capability
Capability overview: With our proven SAP implementation methodology wrapped around the core SAP ASAP Upgrade Road Map we will work with our clients to prepare and execute a comprehensive programme that is designed to deliver the platform that best fits the organisation's strategy.
By working together during the analysis phase we can quickly determine where the business thinks it needs to be, challenge where appropriate, and determine the target point on the upgrade plan. This is then balanced against the risks and costs in order to reach an objective recommendation.
To ensure the recommendation is evidence-based and not just theoretical, we have supplemented our own method and accelerators with IntelliCorp's NetProcess suite of upgrade tools which allows us to rapidly produce an inventory of non-standard objects, measure user activity and then deliver an evidence-based view of the complexity of the upgrade. We combine a technical view of the challenge with a business process view of how the system is currently being used to ensure an accurate overall picture. This stage can be taken as a stand-alone piece of work if required.
By using business-aware consultants we can help identify true business priorities versus "wish list", and help justify the recommended approach. We will also take into account the maturity/ability of the IT department and business to take on the degree of change they think they need.
