Overview

Xansa has been working with SAP since 1990, during which time we have implemented over 300 projects in 21 countries, across a range of industries, and have developed a strong and effective partnership with SAP.

Our client list is impressive, and growing all the time. It includes some of the best known names in a wide range of industries.

Integrated delivery model

Xansa has an extensive offshore capability based in India. Clients can opt for an onshore delivery team, an offshore team or any combination in between, dependent on the drivers within the organisation (cost, timeline, security, own resource availability etc).

One of the strengths of the integrated delivery model is flexibility. Xansa operates a model where the resource location is agreed in advance with the client, monitored to ensure the quality of the deliverables, and changed if necessary.

Currently, over half the resources in the SAP Practice are based in India, giving clients the flexibility to ramp up resource levels quickly alongside the commercial advantages of offshore operations.

Our SAP consultants combine deep industry and product knowledge with exceptional technical ability to implement and innovate using the SAP product suite. Our consultants can do more with the standard SAP functionality, keeping ongoing costs to a minimum and adding significant value to the core service. Track Record

• We delivered the world's largest SAP Retail implementation for the UK's leading health and beauty retailer. As part of our outsourcing arrangements, we deliver the systems underpinning the service to over 1400 wholly owned stores in the UK and franchised operations internationally.
  
• We managed the first-ever company-wide implementation of SAP R3 and BW functionality for ourselves using a truly integrated onshore/offshore delivery model. We delivered a common reporting platform to both our statutory entities, standardised processes across our multi-sector organisation and across the business cycle, and trained over 7,000 employees without using external trainers.
  
• Our work with the UK's leading postal service delivered a management information system capable of storing and accessing in real-time up to 2.5 terabytes of data. This has enhanced the organisation's competitiveness by reducing costs, streamlining decision-making and increasing productivity.

Technology Leadership

• We are committed to remaining at the cutting edge of technological developments around SAP, i.e. complementary and enabling technologies
  
• We are currently working with SAP to develop tailored and integrated solutions for Arrears Management for the Utilities industry, Store Performance for Retailers and mobile device connectivity
  
• We partner with a range of organisations to provide the widest set of standard enhancements to the core SAP offering, including xApps products and solutions from Adobe, 170 Systems, Redwood and others.
  
• We are developing products based on NetWeaver incorporating SAP's Enterprise Services Architecture to support changes to business processes without lengthy development timelines.
  
• We have developed an All-in-One solution for small and medium sized enterprises, based on our own SAP and BW implementation.

Shared Service Capability

Xansa provides support for the majority of its clients through the shared service capability. This provides support, testing & migration and programme delivery through a well established, flexible onshore/offshore model.

Resources allocations range from client-specific to shared, providing cover on an SLA basis, delivering first-line support, fix on fail and enhancements, as well as having good access to SAP's online support service (OSS) for software defects.
